Background

Dr. Reiner grew up in Tampa, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2011. Dr. Reiner began graduate studies at Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, California in August of 2011, earning her Master’s degree in 2014 and her PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology in 2018. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Arkansas State Hospital.


Professional Career

Dr. Reiner has worked at several psychiatric facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition to her predoctoral internship, Dr. Reiner completed the severe mental illness postdoctoral fellowship at the Arkansas State Hospital and continued as an Assistant Professor with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences department of Psychiatry. During her tenure at the Arkansas State Hospital, Dr. Reiner served as a Forensic Evaluator and Unit Psychologist. Additionally, she served on the Diversity and Equity committee as one of two trainers for Minority Affairs for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.  In 2021, Dr. Reiner moved to the Atlanta metro area and took a position with a private practice conducting psychological, psychosexual, and forensic evaluations as well as providing specialized group and individual treatment for individuals with sexual behavior problems and those who have been court mandated for treatment. Dr. Reiner joined Forensic Specialty Group in 2023. She has been qualified as an expert in Forensic Psychology and Sex Offender Treatment in State and Federal Criminal Courts, and Juvenile Court. Dr. Reiner also has additional training and experience in work on cases with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness.

Dr. Reiner is currently licensed to practice Psychology in Georgia and in Arkansas.
